Todd Hayen, PhD, is author of Ancient Egypt and Modern Psychotherapy: Sacred Science and the Search for Soul. He is a psychotherapist in private practice in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Here he discusses several cases of macro-psychokinesis and their psychological significance. He argues that we could do a much better job of integrating individuals gifted with PK talent into our culture. He suggests that many emotionally disturbed individuals actually possess unusual abilities. That such abilities are typically unrecognized by modern culture add to the alienation of these people.
New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is a past vice-president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology; and is the recipient of the Pathfinder Award from that Association for his contributions to the field of human consciousness exploration.
