David Levitt, PhD, is a scientist and technology innovator in several areas. A Bell Labs fellow, Levitt earned his MIT Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence and MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and his Yale BS in Engineering and Applied Science. He pioneered Artificial Intelligence to create traditional music and jazz, co-editing Machine Models of Music for MIT Press. Prof. Levitt has taught at MIT and NYU. He was on the founding team of the MIT Media Lab, and the team at VPL Research that invented Virtual Reality, adding physics. His Reality Construction Kit mobile app offers physically realistic augmented by capturing the shape of the user’s space using LiDAR. A passionate physicist and educator, Levitt has created articles, presentations, video and software to demonstrate Einstein’s theory of gravity. He is Co-Chair of the International Summit on Gravitation, Astrophysics and Cosmology 2025. Levitt has been connected with Gail Hayssen for over 30 years, and has been witness and participant to numerous unexplained events including telepathy, aiming to approach them scientifically.

Gail Hayssen is known as a telepath, psychic, remote viewer and shaman, as well as a podcast host. Gail’s talents first manifested as a teenager. In the late 90’s they came to the attention of scientists Dr. Dean Radin and Russell Targ, who quickly involved her in what became decades of successful paranormal and psi-research experiments and publications, through the present day. The chapter on Telepathy in Dr. Radin’s international bestseller Supernormal describes one of many paranormal experiments with Gail as the subject. She can be seen doing remote viewing in Targ’s documentary Third Eye Spies.

Gail has led an unconventional life and found herself accepted into diverse cultures by being herself. She has been welcomed by the Haida of Alaska, Huichol in Mexico and Shamans of Mongolia. In 2012 she was initiated as a Mongolian Buriat Shaman. In 2014 she was awarded an honorary doctorate from Mongolia’s National Academy of Sciences. In 2015 she was the first woman to receive a medal in Mongolia which is given every 6 years for her contribution to the science and technology in Mongolia.

Since 2021, Gail has produced the bi-weekly podcast “A Small Medium At Large,” where she conducts intimate interviews beyond normal boundaries with uniquely talented individuals, teachers, researchers, witnesses, psychologists and writers. Her website is asmallmediumatlarge.co.
