Russell Targ, a laser physicist, cofounded the remote viewing research program at SRI International. He is coauthor of Mind Reach, The Mind Race, Miracles of Mind, The Heart of the Mind, and The End of Suffering. He is author of Limitless Mind and The Reality of ESP: A Physicist’s Proof of Psychic Abilities. He is also coeditor of the anthology, Mind At Large. He also co-produced the documentary Third Eye Spies.

Russell describes his own remote viewing experiences, starting as early as 1956. While conducting research at SRI International in 1974, when the remote viewer (Pat Price) failed to show up, Russell filled in and achieved an outstanding description of an airport target. He also describes an amazing series of coincidences that resulted in the first funding for the parapsychology research program at SRI (formerly known as the Stanford Research Institute). He describes the use of a “redundancy protocol” for financial forecasting.
