Alison describes cultural astronomy as how much the sky has influenced cultures throughout history.
The first presentation in the Parapsychology Foundation’s Spring Book Expo 2016 was Dr. James C. Carpenter (Jim Carpenter) on his book “First Sight: ESP and Parapsychology in Everyday Life.” Jim’s book is the culmination of more than 40 years of research in the field, an active professional live in clinical psychology and the melding of the two. His premise is that rather than being rare or unusual, the extended contact of consciousness with the world around us also includes the phenomena we think of as ESP.
