Russell Targ, a laser physicist, cofounded the remote viewing research program at SRI International. He is coauthor of Mind Reach, The Mind Race, Miracles of Mind, The Heart of the Mind, and The End of Suffering. He is author of Limitless Mind and The Reality of ESP: A Physicist’s Proof of Psychic Abilities. He is also coeditor of the anthology, Mind At Large.

In this video, rebooted from 2018, he shares his personal involvement with Advaita Vedanta, a philosophy that maintains that there are no divisions. He reviews the impact of logical positivism and describes himself as a former positivist. Then he describes several examples of parapsychological phenomena he has observed. The implications of such observations is that mind or consciousness is efficacious in the world. He relates two personal stories suggesting survival of consciousness after death.
