Here he reviews many lesser known details concerning how the United States Army initiated and sustained a remote viewing program.
NOTE: This is an excerpt from the full 90-minute DVD.
Psychological integration takes place in association with release of tension in the body. In part one of this two-part program, Ilana Rubenfeld describes how she learned to “listen with her hands” to the language of the body. She developed her unique synergy approach, when she discovered that neither body work nor psychotherapy alone were able to address the whole person. The Rubenfeld Synergy Method incorporates elements of the Alexander technique, the Feldenkreis technique, gestalt psychotherapy and Ericksonian hypnosis into one unique psychotherapeutic modality.
In the hour-long second part of the DVD, Ilana demonstrates her unique synergy method. In so doing, she points out that the practitioner must be mindful of their own body while working, so as not to incorporate the tensions and pains of those with whom they work. She discusses the deceptive simplicity of her method and the commitment required for training in Rubenfeld Synergy.
Ilana Rubenfeld is the founder and director of the Rubenfeld Synergy Center in Manhattan. Originally she was trained as a musical conductor, working with Leopold Stowkowski at the Julliard School of Music. She has practiced the Rubenfeld Synergy Method for over thirty years, and in the past fifteen years has trained over three hundred practitioners.
