Carroll is credited with the development and popularization of chaos magic, a modern redefinition of magic that vastly simplifies the medieval reliance on strict rituals and incorporates concepts from quantum physics. Chaos magic has significantly demystified the practice of magic and made it much more compatible with the modern mind.
