Michael Cremo is coauthor, with Richard Thompson, of Forbidden Archeology: The Hidden History of the Human Race. He is also author of Human Devolution: A Vedic Alternative to Darwin’s Theory.
Here he describes the findings reported in his 1993 book, Forbidden Archeology, in which he documented many reports from scientific journals prior to the acceptance of Darwin’s theory. These reports show evidence of modern human remains found in geological formations that are millions of years old — long before the generally accepted dates of homo sapiens sapiens. If taken seriously, Cremo explains that this data contradicts standard interpretations of human origins.
New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is a past vice-president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology; and is the recipient of the Pathfinder Award from that Association for his contributions to the field of human consciousness exploration.
