In light of the recent U.S. Congressional hearings on UFOs/UAPs, the phenomenon that once dared not speak its name is now an open– though still controversial– topic. Joining guest host Christopher Naughton is Matthew Roberts, the former Naval Cryptologist aboard the USS Roosevelt who first reviewed the famed “Gimbal” UAP footage and had subsequent experiences. He is the author of “Initiated” and is featured in Netflix’ four-part series “Encounters.”

Naughton and Roberts explore the secrecy surrounding UFO encounters and the vindication of historically disbelieved UFO witnesses through the “Encounters” series. The Amblin Entertainment (Steven Spielberg) production also addresses eyewitness accounts of UFO incidents in Texas, Wales, Zimbabwe and other locations, highlights the role of former Harvard psychiatrist John Mack and examines the “hitchhiker effect” experienced by Roberts who reveals his belief in the entities’ intentions and messages.

The conversation concludes with a discussion on overcoming fear, and seeking understanding and the transformative journey of the witnesses and experiencers.
