On December 18th, 2016, Professor Dick Bierman (SL: Mad Dutch Scientist) (University of Gotingen and 2016 faculty for the PF’s ParaMOOC16) gave a presentation at EVRE: Time, Consciousness and the Paranormal, a Linden Endowment for the Arts (LEA27) installation by virtual world artist and builder Tahiti Rae.
Bierman’s talk reviewed the problems that experimental parapsychologists often ignore, from the lack of replication to the experimenter effect and the analyzer effect to impact of the understanding of time and causality on the phenomena of the field.
The talk was presented at the Pavilion Auditorium on the EVRE sim in Second Life. This talk is the second of a series of four lectures presented on the EVRE sim in 2016. The PowerPoints and additional materials are available on the third floor of The AZIRE Library and Learning Center in the Chilbo Community in Second Life. The SLURL to the library is given below.
