Degeneracy in the Kali Yuga

Is the world truly getting better? Or are we perceiving life through rose-colored glasses as we continually acquiesce to a degenerate society governed by the religion of technology? According to the world-age doctrine of the Hindu Yugas, no, the world is not getting better, and we are actually in the darkest age known as the Kali Yuga. As a result, the further we descend into the Kali Yuga, one of the more visible aspects of this age is degeneracy, and it is slowly but surely infecting the soul of humanity.
