Richard Jelusich

Richard Jelusich, PhD, is chairman of the board of trustees of the California Institute for Human Science, and also a lead faculty member. He is an ordained minister and has an active practice in subtle energy medicine/energy psychology and spiritual counseling. He is the author of Eye of the Lotus: Psychology of the Chakras and I Can Relate: How We Intuitively Choose the People in Our Lives. He is the founder of Light News Institute and Integrative Chakra Therapy (ICT), an energy medicine/energy psychology school for practitioners. His website is https://lightnews.org

Here he focuses on the first chakra (Muladhara), located where the two legs come together, and the seventh chakra (Sahasrara), located at the crown of the head. These two chakras, in his view, have more to do with connecting the individual to the larger world than in influencing personality traits.
