In her native language, Mhara refers to herself as a Swynydd, a historical term for practitioners of folk magic which aided their community. The closest English translation to Swynydd would be a Welsh Folk Witch. She is also a published author, and spends her time delivering workshops and talks at conferences, museums, and online.

This discussion will not only offer insights into the practical aspects of Welsh folk magic.
