On July 17th, PF Research Fellow Nancy L. Zingrone gave a talk to the ALA/ACRL Virtual Worlds Interest Group in Second Life. Invited by Valerie Hill, President of the Community Virtual Library in Second Life (SL Valibrarian Gregg), Zingrone’s (SL Maggie Larimore) talk was called “Supporting A Course with a Virtual World Library.” The talk covered The AZIRE Library and Learning Center, a project of Zingrone and her husband PF Research Fellow Carlos S. Alvarado, the Parapsychology Research and Education MOOC Series (aka ParaMOOC15 and ParaMOOC16), and the support of the Parapsychology Foundation for online education. The talk was presented in the Community Virtual Library Audiotorium on the Bradley University sim in Second Life.
