James C. Carpeter, PhD, is among the last living students of J. B. Rhine, the founder of American parapsychology. He is a former Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He is author of First Sight: ESP and Parapsychology in Everyday Life.
